As a Mixed Martial Arts training facility we train using a variety of Martial Arts.
Our Stand Up Skills sessions draw on our experience in various forms of KickBoxing and Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Our Ground Work Skills classes combine techniques from traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling and then blend these with modern MMA applications.
We also offer Open Gym session to our members. Open Gym is where one of our coaches will open the gym up for members to come in and do their own thing. Maybe put some earphones in and get on a bag OR use the area for stretches you don't have space for at home OR pair up with another member to drill out some techniques you want to work on OR get some light sparring in with any willing participants.
On our schedule you will also see FIGHT SQUAD - fight squad are additional sessions we put on to give our active fighters a chance to get some training in which is well above the level of intensity of our standard classes. Any member with more than 3 months experience is welcome at Fight Squad, there is no obligation to ever fight, however the focus of the sessions are always aimed towards our active fighters. A regular Fight Squad session usually consists of around 30 minutes cardio and 30 minutes sparring. Speak to James if you are unsure whether you are ready to attend or not.
